How do I install my wiper blades?

Your wiper blades come with everything you need for a quick and easy installation. You won't need any additonal tools. Check out our easy to follow installation guide for your wiper type.

How do I identify my Audi Q7 year and series?

Locate the Audi Q7 VIN through the lower windscreen and pair it with the manufacture date recorded on the compliance information to confirm the series.

Check a 2015 Q7 carefully. The 4M has a sharper single-frame grille and slimmer headlights; the 4L has the rounder first-generation body and taller lamp units. Confirm the VIN before choosing because the two series use different front pairs and connectors.

Frequently asked questions

What is the length of the Audi Q7 wiper blades?

Audi Q7 blade sizes by series:

  • 4M, including both facelifts: 28-inch driver (700 mm), 20-inch passenger (500 mm), 15-inch rear (375 mm)
  • 4L and 4L Facelift: two 26-inch front blades (650 mm each)

How to install front wiper blades for the Audi Q7?

On a 4M Q7, raise one arm while holding it against the spring. Press the small button on the narrow flat connector and slide the blade straight off the arm. Feed the replacement onto the arm and wait for the button to stand proud in its opening, check the lock with a light pull, then lower the arm onto the glass.

How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Audi Q7?

For a 4M rear blade, bring the rear arm up, then pivot the blade out from the window. Slide the blade's tongue out of the arm fitting, align the replacement in the same direction and push it fully home before lowering the arm.

What connector type does the Audi Q7 use?

The 4M uses narrow push-button front arms and a slide-on tongue rear fitting. The 4L uses pinch-tab front arms.

Did Audi Q7 wiper blade sizes change between generations?

Yes. The 4M uses 28/20-inch fronts with a 15-inch rear, while the 4L uses two 26-inch front blades.

Do pre-facelift and facelift Audi Q7 vehicles use different wiper sizes?

No. The 4M, 4M 1st Facelift and 4M 2nd Facelift retain the 28/20/15-inch set. The 4L and 4L Facelift retain two 26-inch fronts.

Do all Audi Q7 generations use the same front wiper-arm connector?

Connector style changes at the main generation break. Every 4M version uses a narrow push button; 4L and 4L Facelift use pinch tabs.

What's the difference in the Audi Q7 4M and 4L?

The 4M Q7 moved to a lighter platform, a sharper single-frame front design and a much more digital cabin. The 4L is the larger-looking original generation, with a rounder body, conventional instruments and an earlier infotainment layout.
