Confirm whether the Nissan Navara is a Ute or Cab Chassis, then use the certification label mounted on the Navara's driver-side centre pillar to read its manufacture date.

The recent choices are D27 (2026), D23 NP300 Facelift (2021 - 2025) and D23 NP300 (2015 - 2020). Older vehicles include D40 and D22, whose years overlap widely: D40 is the larger, rounder ute with flared guards, while D22 has a smaller, boxier cab and squarer headlight shape. The D23 NP300 has Nissan's V-shaped grille and a more angular front than D40. Confirm the code from the VIN.

How to install front wiper blades for the Nissan Navara?

The Navara uses a conventional J-hook fitting, so replacement is straightforward. Lift one arm away from the glass, turn the blade across the arm and open the adaptor cover. Press the release, move the old blade down towards the base of the arm and guide the hook free.

Feed the Navara's hook through the new adaptor, draw the blade upwards until it locks, then shut the cover. Give it a short pull to confirm it is secure. Lower the arm gently and repeat on the other side.

What connector type does the Nissan Navara use?

Navara models from D21 through D23 NP300 Facelift use a J-hook front wiper arm. It is the curved, hook-shaped end that sits inside the centre adaptor of the blade.

Did Nissan Navara wiper blade sizes change between generations?

Yes. The D23 NP300 and D23 NP300 Facelift both take 24-inch (600mm) driver and 17-inch (425mm) passenger blades. The D40 changes the passenger side to 19 inches (475mm), while the D22 and D21 use equal-length front blades.
