How do I identify my Nissan X-TRAIL year and series?

Read the Nissan X-TRAIL manufacture date from the label around the door opening, then check the VIN and series code. T33 covers 2022 - 2026, T32 2014 - 2022, T31 2007 - 2014 and T30 2001 - 2007.

T33 and T32 use the same blades and connector, so a 2022 vehicle does not need a visual comparison. Check the series carefully around 2014 and 2007, when the required wipers change between T32 and T31, then between T31 and T30.

What is the length of the Nissan X-TRAIL wiper blades?

How to install front wiper blades for the Nissan X-TRAIL?

Let's tackle the X-TRAIL fronts first. Lift the arm, turn the blade roughly 90 degrees and find the small release on the adaptor. Hold that clip in and slide the old unit down and out of the hook.

With the replacement turned across the arm, feed the hook into the adaptor and draw the blade back up until it catches. Straighten it, check it cannot slide free, then lower the arm under control.

How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Nissan X-TRAIL?

Bring the X-TRAIL rear blade out from the glass and turn it to expose the connection. On T33 and T32 models, release the fork snap-clip and work the blade off the arm. Fit the replacement over the fork, press until the clip seats and rotate the blade back to its working angle. T31 and T30 use different rear fittings, so match the series first.

What connector type does the Nissan X-TRAIL use?

All four X-TRAIL series use J-hook front arms. Rear connections differ: T33 and T32 use a fork snap-clip style, T31 uses a hook-and-socket fitting, and T30 uses a J-hook rear.

Did Nissan X-TRAIL wiper blade sizes change between generations?

No change is required between T33 and T32: both use 26-inch (650mm) driver, 17-inch (425mm) passenger and 12-inch (300mm) rear blades. T31 uses shorter front blades and a longer 14-inch (350mm) rear.
