The Mercedes-Benz collection covers A-Class through S-Class, CLA, CLS, CLK, CLE and AMG GT, plus GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE, GLS, M-Class and G-Class SUVs. Sprinter, Vito, V-Class, Viano, Valente and Marco Polo sit beside EQA, EQB, EQC, EQE and EQV.

Model class is only the starting point. C-Class alone uses J-hook, side-clamp, side-pin, wide push-button, pinch-tab, keyed top-lock and keyed slim top-lock connectors across W202 to W206 families and their body variants.

A-Class changes from J-hooks on W168 to pinch tabs on W169 and early W176, then keyed top-lock on W176 Facelift, W177 and V177. GLC shows why blade length cannot settle the question: X253 and C253 use keyed top-lock, while X254 and C254 use the slimmer keyed version despite equal front lengths in the listed applications.

Use the chassis code from the VIN or vehicle details, followed by body style and build period. Vans and people movers also need their exact name; Vito, V-Class, Viano, Valente and Marco Polo are separate listings rather than one shared van set.
