How do I identify my Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class year and series?

On the GLA-Class, Mercedes-Benz fits the GLA-Class build plate beside a door aperture or on the B-pillar. Check its date against the lower-windscreen VIN.

H247 covers 2020 - 2026, X156 Facelift 2017 - 2019 and X156 2013 - 2017. For a 2017 build, X156 Facelift has revised bumper openings and updated light details; X156 has the original front treatment. H247 is taller and squarer, with slimmer lamps and a more upright grille.

A 2020 - 2026 H247 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class uses a 26-inch driver blade (650 mm), 19-inch passenger blade (475 mm) and 13-inch rear blade (325 mm). The 2013 - 2019 X156, including its facelift, uses 24 inches (600 mm) on the driver side, 19 inches (475 mm) on the passenger side and 11 inches (275 mm) at the rear.

How to install front wiper blades for the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class?

The H247 GLA-Class has a keyed top-lock arm. Lift it only after the wipers are clear of the bonnet, press the low release and slide the blade along the keyed arm. Keep the new adaptor aligned with the keyway as it goes on; the retaining tab must sit fully back in its notch.

How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class?

The H247 rear blade slides onto a straight tongue. Lift the arm, pull the 13-inch blade out along its moulded channel and push the new one back over the tongue. Stop when the internal catch holds it firmly.

What connector type does the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class use?

H247 and the X156 Facelift use keyed top-lock front connectors. The original X156 uses a pinch-tab fitting.
