The Tiguan choices are CT (2025 - 2026), AD2 (2022 - 2025), AD1 (2016 - 2022) and 5N (2008 - 2015). For a 2022 build, AD2 has slimmer headlights and revised grille and bumper details; AD1 has the earlier front. A 2025 CT has a smoother nose with a narrow upper opening, while AD2 keeps the more conventional grille between the lamps.

Find the button that blends into the Tiguan's flat front arm. Press it with a fingertip and slide the blade up and out. The replacement fits directly into the same channel.

Push until the button clicks into view, then give the blade a little wiggle. If it stays put, lower the arm and move to the other side.

How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

With the Tiguan rear arm lifted, turn the blade to expose its latch. AD2 and AD1 use a push-button slide-lock: release the catch and move the blade off the arm. The 5N uses a fork-and-pin latch. Refit at the same angle and confirm the blade pivots without detaching.
