How do I identify my Mercedes-Benz A-Class year and series?

Confirm whether the Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a Hatch or Sedan. The A-Class build label is around a doorway or B-pillar.

W177 is the 2018 - 2026 Hatch, while V177 is the 2019 - 2025 Sedan. The previous Hatch is W176: its 2015 - 2017 Facelift has revised lamp internals and smoother bumper openings than the 2013 - 2015 version. W169 and W168 have taller, short-bonnet bodies that are readily separated from W176.

How to install front wiper blades for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class?

The W176 Facelift demonstration starts by lifting the A-Class arm and twisting the blade to reveal the plastic locking piece. Pull that piece upwards, release the keyed top-lock blade and fit the replacement by locating its metal bar in the adaptor slot until it clicks. W177 and V177 use the same keyed top-lock family. On W176 and W169, compress the two pinch tabs and slide the connector away; W168 instead requires the blade to turn across its J-hook before the adaptor moves towards the pivot and off the curved end.

How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Mercedes-Benz A-Class?

W177 uses a rear slide-on tongue connector. Rotate the blade at the joint and slide it off the arm tongue, then slide the replacement fully onto the tongue. W176 uses a hooked flat-arm rear fitting; turn and unhook the blade before seating the new joint. W169 has a fork snap-clip rear connector, released from the fork and pressed back until it catches. W168 uses a J-hook rear adaptor.

What connector type does the Mercedes-Benz A-Class use?
