How do I identify my Jeep Grand Cherokee year and series?

Open the Jeep Grand Cherokee driver door and read the manufacture date and VIN from the vehicle label. Check the chassis code, then match it to the series range:

  • 2022 - 2025 (WL)
  • 2011 - 2021 (WK / WK2)
  • 2005 - 2010 (WH / WK)
  • 1999 - 2005 (WJ / WG)

How to install front wiper blades for the Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Lift the Grand Cherokee arm and open the little trap door on the J-hook adaptor. Slide the old blade down the arm and bring the hook out through the channel. Keep the metal arm under control while it is bare.

Line up the new adaptor, pull it into the hook and lock the door. A quick hand-check should leave no movement along the arm.

How do I install the rear wiper blade on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Curve the Grand Cherokee rear blade away from the glass and hold the arm so it cannot spring back. On WL, set the blade at its release angle and pull the socket from the hook. Press the replacement into the groove until it snaps. Earlier generations have different rear fittings, so follow the series selected.

What connector type does the Jeep Grand Cherokee use?
